Case study

Corrosion:
Frame 42 LH Fuselage, exceeding SRM limits

C-Check structural finding
— mobilised in 48 hours

Situation:
During a scheduled C-Check, structural corrosion on the lower fuselage skin panel (FR42–45) exceeded SRM limits. A structural repair was required before Return to Service — but no certified repair team was immediately available. Every day of delay risked cascading the entire hangar induction schedule.

What we did:
STAFFHUBAERO mobilised a certified structural repair team — including sheet metal specialists with all approvals verified and travel coordinated before departure.

Result:
Team on-site within 48 hours. Repair completed to SRM/OEM standards, aircraft returned to service on schedule. Induction slot protected.

Case study

AOG rectification: engine inlet cowl, ground damage.

Engine Inlet Cowl Puncture: Immediate Rectification Required

Situation:

During ground operations, the engine inlet cowl was struck by maintenance stairs, causing a puncture to the inlet lip structure. Parts procurement, crane support and certified personnel all needed to be coordinated simultaneously. Each dependency a potential delay that compounds the AOG window.

Solution & Result:

STAFFHUBAERO acted as a single point of contact. We sourced a serviceable spare inlet cowl assembly on exchange conditions, coordinated crane scheduling and logistics and mobilised two certified B1/B2 engineers. All in parallel, not sequentially.

All resources on-site within 48 hours. Full inlet cowl R/I completed in a single working day. Aircraft returned to service with full certification.
